Microdosing involves ingesting a very small, sub-hallucinogenic amount of a psychedelic medicine or other substance on a semi-regular basis in effort to enhance the everyday. Start with a low dose (around 75-100mg) on your choice of microdosing protocol, and increase as desired. If you feel light psychoactive effects, dose down by 25 or 50mg next time — you need not actually feel physiological effects in order for the mushrooms to work their magic. We recommend taking your vitamins with your vitamins at the beginning of your day in order to tackle your to-do’s and avoid possible sleep disruptions. Enjoy your first dose with intention on a day off from work, or other commitments.
When used with intention, microdosing should:
Allow for improved cognitive functioning, including focus, attention, problem-solving, and decision-making.
Allow for a gentle lift and some relief from anxiety & depressed mood, as well as increased energy and ease in social interactions.
Have little to no physical effects or physiological discomfort.
Prompt a gentle shift in perception, with little to no noticeable sensory distortions.
Microdosing is most effective when incorporated into daily, healthful ritual on a schedule for 1-3 months at a time. Days off are integral to restore sensitivity at the Serotonin 5-H2A receptors in the central nervous system at which psychedelics work in order to regain baseline tolerance.
Journaling is a recommended practice to accompany your regime in order to track gradual changes over time in mood, cognitive function, and energy. The effects should be subtle, but noticeable. You may have to experiment with your dose in order to find your sweet spot.

Micro dose for macro change.
A mini-dose of psilocybin allows the consumer to dip their toes into the psychedelic experience and test the waters without overwhelming psychoactive effects or hallucinations. It is best enjoyed in the company of friends, while journeying at home in a cozy space, whether alone or with a lover, or in deep meditation to gain insight. It can also be used as a lubricant in social settings as a healthful alternative to alcohol consumption, like at a concert or on a camping trip.

A museum dose of psilocybin allows for enough to wander around, and wonder about, without detection while enjoying a decidedly altered sense of perception and shift in perspective. Recommended for making or consuming art, or while enjoying a walk in nature to amplify a sense of wonderment with the world around you. Try a digital detox and put your phone away as things could get a little sparkly.
When used with intention, a museum dose should:
Allow for marked expansion in spontaneous creative insight, and better ability to connect the dots.
Incite mild feelings of euphoria, an enhanced sense of well-being, and increase connectedness with personal and universal nature. Some may experience mild confusion, paranoia or fear.
Observable body high or buzz: a warming, velvety, feeling; slight impairment of motor skills & coordination
Increased sensitivity to light and sound: emerging visuals (auras, twinkles, halos) and amplified response to auditory sensation and music
Set & setting becomes abundantly more important to consider the higher you decide to fly. When experimenting with higher doses, pay special mind to the place and people with whom you are consuming and ensure you are in a safe and comfortable environment.

Many will find that upping their dose helps them to gain a conscious awareness of unconscious thoughts, feelings, and beliefs, and offer an ease in ability to construct abstract solutions to problems. Set & setting are important considerations – especially as the dose increases – giving preparatory attention towards cultivating a positive mindset and a comfortable environment. We recommend leaning into the full effects and letting your freak flag fly!
When used with intention, a moderate dose should:
Prompt feelings similar to dream-state or entry into a time warp. It may prompt an ease in subconscious memory retrieval, yet difficulty concentrating on most tasks requiring higher cognitive functioning.
Increase sense of connection with oneself and others in a meaningful way. It is likely to amplify emotions (the good and the bewildering) which can be uncomfortable for some, but life-altering for others.
Prompt a range of physical sensations from calm & relaxed to energized, or restless. Expect a decline in fine motor control (like ability to operate a smartphone or otherwise).
Incite visual distortions and hallucinations (think morphing, breathing, and kaleidoscopic patterns), and increased emotionality in response to music.
You may want to elect a trip sitter or close, sober friend whose trusted job is to keep you safe and comfortable for the duration of your experience. Access to drinking water is an important consideration, as well as a soft place to land if needed. It is difficult to predict what may come up for you in your experience, so a debrief with a friend or session with a therapist afterwards can help to tie up loose ends and integrate your experience.

When used with intention, a macro dose should allow for:
Complete temporal dissolution and absolution from maintaining the status quo.
A range of emotions from joy and euphoria to fear and anxiety; potential for deep emotional healing with proper preparation & integration; potential temporary loss of ego and/or self-identity.
Prompt dissociation from the physical body; loss of fine and gross motor control; and incite an innate desire to lie down in a safe, comfortable position.
Completely alter your sensory experience, with intense visual hallucinations and possible synthesia – the experiencing of one sense through another.
To reach a macro-dose, try making a strong mushroom tea, enjoying straight up shrooms with some chocolate, and remember to drink some water. A seasoned trip sitter, therapist, or guide becomes integral to serve as your link to reality, to assist you in facing your fears should anything challenging appear, and to create and maintain a safe space for the tripper. This could mean offering a physical alteration in reality (a change in music, the addition of an eye mask or warm blanket), or respectful touch (always with consent, and negotiated beforehand), like holding a hand or offering a rub on the back to help soothe and settle.
