Where Do I Start?
What is microdosing?
Microdosing involves the ingestion of a sub-perceptual amount of any substance, including magic mushrooms, for a subtle yet powerful shift in perception, perspective and purported health benefits.
How do I pick my dose? What do you mean by a “schedule” or “protocol” for microdosing?
A microdose of magic mushrooms is generally anywhere between 50 and 250mg. Please see here for the low-down on all things dosed – from micro to mini to macro and beyond.
Can I microdose while taking medication?
We do not provide any medical advice. Our products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or disorder. We invite you to refer to a qualified health professional for the appropriate information tailored to your needs.
How can I supplement my microdosing practice?
We invite you to get curious about setting an intention before engaging in a microdose ritual. For best results, it’s recommended to integrate self-reflective practices like journaling, and mindfulness-based practices, like yoga or breathwork, into your daily routine. We encourage you to drink lots of water, spend more time in nature than usual, and to move – and listen to – to your body. What kind of mushrooms do you use in your products?
We use Albino Avery’s, a variety of psilocybe cubensis, in all of our products due to their mood-elevating, introspective, and relaxing effects. We source all of our mushrooms from conscious growers in British Columbia.
Is your product vegetarian? Gluten-free?
Our blends are made with organic, sustainably-harvested, local when possible plants, herbs and mushrooms and never contain any preservatives or filler. The gelatin capsules are pharmaceutical grade, non-GMO, pesticide-free, gluten-free, and manufactured in Canada, but not necessarily vegetarian-friendly. Please contact us for further inquiry.
What is the shelf-life of your product?
All gelatin capsules themselves are pharmaceutical grade and shelf-stable in a cool, dry place for 3-5 years. That being said, the quality of the product in the capsules will degrade and become less effective over time. We recommend consuming your product within one year of purchase for best results.
Are magic mushrooms legal to consume?
Magic mushrooms are still not considered legal in most instances in Canada under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act, despite their widespread availability, unless you have been granted an exemption by Health Canada for use with an approved practitioner in end-of-life therapy or in the treatment of serious mental health disorders.
Are magic mushrooms safe to consume?
According to both the 2017 and the 2021 Global Drug Safety Survey, magic mushrooms are in the top 15 drugs consumed, presenting the least amount of physical harmful effects, and fewest amount of known emergency medical interventions needed. They are not considered to be addictive or habit-forming.
The long-term effects of psilocybin use are relatively unknown, as research ground to a halt in the late 1960’s and has only picked back up in recent history.
Always talk with a qualified doctor, nurse, friendly neighborhood pharmacist, or holistic health practitioner before introducing microdosing to your routine or mixing with medication, especially if you are diagnosed with a mental health disorder, pregnant or chest-feeding, or otherwise vulnerable to the effects of magic mushrooms.
Is it safe to buy mushrooms online?
We pride ourselves on offering a much safer alternative than meeting “your guy” in a parking lot. The Canada Post Corporation Act takes your privacy very seriously; no package can be seized or interfered with unless it poses a threat to national security. We mail everything in unmarked, nondescript boxes or envelopes to seamlessly blend in with the thousands of other packages that go through the post every day.
Payment / Shipping / Taxes
What type of payments do you accept?
We currently accept Visa, Mastercard and Interac e-transfer for all online orders. All of our IRL events take credit card, cash, and debit payments.
Why am I paying taxes?
Just like any other Canadian business, we are required to remit taxes.
When will I receive my order?
Everything is shipped within 1-4 business days by ExpressPost with Canada Post. Shipping within Canada can take anywhere from 1-14 days depending on location and circumstance. Once your package is shipped, we are at will of the universe. As such, we invite you to please be patient.
What if I have not received my order?
If it has been 14 days since your order was shipped and you believe your order is missing in transit, please contact us at [email protected] and we will happily open a claim with Canada Post for you.
We are not able to reimburse for orders showing as delivered. Please ensure that you are using your full, proper mailing address in which to receive your order, including your full name and suite, building or unit number if applicable.
If you’d like extra protection against loss or theft, please contact us at [email protected] to request a signature on your package. There will be an extra charge for this service, as per Canada Post.
What if something is missing from my order?
Please contact [email protected] and we will work with you to resolve this right away.
I live locally – can I pick up my order instead?
Unfortunately, for safety & privacy reasons we cannot accommodate pick-ups at this time.
What is your return policy?
It is not currently within our capacity to accept returns on most items, but feel free to contact us to try to resolve the issue at [email protected].
